Driver walk-round checks!
Important.....why?
They can prevent breakdowns and prohibitions.....yes.
Also, DVSA have been actively enforcing since Jan 2020 that drivers evidence their checks both in writing and on the tachograph by showing 12-15min of 'other work' at the start of the shift.
£50 FP to the driver if this is not found to be done.
